Eugene Youth Symphony
The Eugene Youth Symphony presents some of the greater Eugene/Springfield area's finest student musicians in exciting concerts featuring outstanding soloists and demanding orchestral music. All qualified musicians through age 21 may audition annually for membership. The Eugene Youth Symphony is the second oldest youth symphony west of the Mississippi and is conducted by Dr. Jason Duckles.
The Eugene Youth Symphony meets Monday evenings between 6:45 and 9:00 p.m. in the Band Room at South Eugene High School. The participation fee is $420. Assistance with participation fees is available. Auditions are held annually in the spring. Eugene Youth Symphony concerts feature a variety of exciting repertoire and featured student soloists.
