2008-2009 Concert Sponsorship Information

Cost: $500 minimum donation per concert
Sponsor Benefits:

  • Sponsor acknowledgement in publicity: Arts Umbrella recognizes and identifies the Sponsor in all news releases, flyers, postcards, brochures, printed programs, and any other materials related to the concert which are printed after the date of our verbal agreement. This includes recognition in all television promotional spots provided by our media sponsor.
  • Exclusivity: Sponsors are the sole, exclusive sponsor of the concert chosen.
  • Sponsor acknowledgement on concert sponsor program page*: Sponsors are identified on the Concert Program page as the “concert sponsor.” The Sponsor name and logo are also identified on the program page.
  • Sponsor advertisement in concert program*: Sponsors receive free ad space in the Concert Program, given that they can provide Arts Umbrella with camera-ready art or compatible files. The dimensions of the ad space provided are 5” W x 4” H. Current market value of this advertisement is $160.
  • Banner: Sponsors may choose to display a banner/poster/etc. in the lobby of South Eugene High School during the performance.
  • Recognition from stage: Sponsors are recognized from stage during the sponsored concert.
  • Tickets for sponsored concerts: Arts Umbrella provides the Sponsor with up to 10 tickets to the concert they’ve sponsored at a value of $8 per ticket; a total value of $70.00.
  • Donor Reception: Sponsors are invited to Arts Umbrella’s annual Donor Appreciation Reception held each spring.

*Arts Umbrella concert programs are printed 2x/year. Your information (ad, logo, etc.) will remain in the program for three concerts, extending the reach of your ad far beyond the attendants of your sponsored concert.

Our Media Sponsor*

Arts Umbrella currently has one media sponsor that provides us with free publicity before all major concerts and events. By partnering with these sponsors, Arts Umbrella is provided with numerous television advertisements that are written by Arts Umbrella staff and that contain any information Arts Umbrella should choose to include.

As a part of sponsoring a concert or event, Arts Umbrella will include your businesses name and logo in all of the promotional spots relating to the event you have chosen to sponsor. In other words, by sponsoring an Arts Umbrella concert, your business will receive free advertising on a well-known television station for a period of time before (and sometimes after) the event you’ve chosen to sponsor. Please review the following for more information about our media sponsor:

Television Sponsor: KVAL-TV
KVAL-TV Channel 13, is considered Eugene’s “hometown leader for local news, weather and sports.” As Arts Umbrella’s media sponsor, KVAL will:

  • run a :30 second television announcement running on a “Public Service air schedule” for approximately two weeks before the event valued at $1500.
  • attempt to procure underwriters for the above schedule, turning the PSA schedule into a fixed position schedule. This increases the value to $2500-3500.
  • run a :15 second television follow-up “Thank You announcement” to air for one week after the event.
  • post information about the event on their website.
  • submit a request for an interview on the noon news prior to the event
